Rotty is your mascot companion — a character who evolves based on your real-life progress. Every user starts as Corrupted Rotty (stuck in bad habits) and works toward Ascended Rotty (free, confident, thriving). There are 5 main evolution stages plus special unlockable forms like Fit Rotty, Businessman Rotty, and Creative Rotty.
How does Rotty evolve?+
Rotty evolves based on your recovery score — a dynamic number calculated from your addiction frequency, habit consistency, sleep quality, exercise, screen time, and daily check-ins. The better your habits, the higher your score, and the more Rotty transforms. It's like a life RPG.
Is it like a game?+
Yes, intentionally. The app feels like a life RPG — you earn XP, build streaks, unlock achievements and badges, level up your profile, and unlock new Rotty skins and character forms. Progress is visualized through levels and transformation stages, not just numbers.
What is the recovery score?+
The recovery score is a dynamic calculation based on everything you log: addiction frequency, habit consistency, sleep quality, exercise, screen time, mood tracking, and daily check-ins. It determines which version of Rotty appears — so you see your progress as a visual transformation, not a harsh number.
What is 'brain rot'?+
Brain rot refers to the numbing effect of constant dopamine loops — endless scrolling, junk content, addictive habits that stimulate without ever satisfying. Rot Reset exists to help you escape that cycle. You are not lazy. You are overstimulated.
How is Rot Reset different from other habit trackers?+
Most habit apps track only positive habits. Rot Reset tracks both sides — the things you want to quit and the habits you want to build — and ties them together through Rotty's evolution.
